This eight bowl set covers every whole note from C to B, including the upper C, to create a major scale with a bright, uplifting voice. Played in sequence or in combination, the scale offers a natural framework for chakra-aligned sessions, with each of the eight notes corresponding to one of the main energy centers. Every note in this set is tuned within approximately 5 cents of 440Hz perfect pitch, so the bowls harmonize beautifully with one another and with other 440Hz instruments, from crystal and Himalayan bowls to piano, guitar, and voice.
Empyrean quartz crystal singing bowls are the premium evolution of the classic frosted quartz bowl. Their signature is a revolutionary outer surface polished to a nearly perfect smoothness, a finish made for playing: the included suede-surfaced mallets provide exactly the right friction to activate each bowl's exceptionally pure tone. Empyrean bowls are also built thicker than their frosted counterparts size for size, which lets them reach higher octaves that classic frosted bowls cannot achieve.
