The Premium Etched style of the Zen Vedic Series uses precision laser etching to bring intricate Buddhist and Hindu artwork to bronze in a way that's nearly impossible to achieve by hand. The detail is fine, consistent, and elaborate, and each bowl carries that artwork alongside the warm, sustained voice the Vedic Series is built around.
The result is a bowl that earns a second look before you ever strike it, and a third one after you do. Whether it lives on an altar, finds its way into session work, or sits where it can simply be looked at, a Premium Etched bowl carries its presence in both directions, what you see and what you hear.
Etched Design
This Premium Etched Zen Vedic Series bowl features a Sri Yantra at the center of the inside, set within a four-gated palace mandala framed by lotus petals and a ring of flame, with Metatron's Cube and ornate lotus medallions filling the cardinal points along the inner walls. A lotus rising from a vase anchors the upper rim, framed by rings of Sanskrit and Tibetan mantra script. The outside of the bowl is wrapped in large Om medallions surrounded by tightly coiled spirals of mantra, while the bottom carries a second Sri Yantra in its own palace mandala, echoing the structure above. Together, the iconography centers the bowl on the seed sound of Om and the cosmic geometry of the Sri Yantra, with the spiraling mantras wrapping the body in continuous prayer.
About the Zen Vedic Series
This Premium Etched Zen Vedic Series bowl features a thousand-armed Avalokiteshvara at the center of the inside, the bodhisattva of compassion standing within a radiant halo of arms, framed by clouds and surrounded by ornate mandala wheels carrying deity seed syllables along the inner walls. The outside of the bowl is wrapped in alchemical lunar medallions, each one combining a crescent moon, upturned hands, and a triangle with stars, ringed by the phases of the moon. At the base sits a Metatron's Cube with chakra-colored nodes, framed by a Greek key meander pattern. Together, the iconography draws together Buddhist compassion, lunar magic, and Hermetic geometry, a bowl that brings together the boundless reach of Avalokiteshvara with the quieter rhythms of the moon and the underlying order of sacred geometry.
