Etched Design

This Premium Etched Zen Vedic Series bowl features a seated Buddha at the center of the inside, framed by a halo and cloud motifs, with dharma wheels and lotus mandalas anchoring the cardinal points along the inner walls and a bumpa treasure vase blooming with lotus at the upper rim. The outside of the bowl is wrapped in vibrational mandalas alternating with endless knot patterns ringed by Sanskrit mantra script, while the bottom is anchored by a four-gated palace mandala with a radiant sun at its core, accompanied by an additional bumpa vase. Together, the iconography brings the presence of the Buddha into dialogue with the dharma wheel, the endless knot, and the treasure vase of abundance, a bowl that pulls together the core symbols of Buddhist practice around a steady, radiant center.

The Zen Singing Bowls Vedic Series is hand-crafted in India by skilled artisans working in a long-standing metalsmithing tradition. Though singing bowls are often referred to as Tibetan Singing Bowls, Tibet itself does not produce them. The bowls associated with this practice are made across the broader Himalayan and South Asian region, with India being one of the key centers of production.
