Originally built to test pipe organs before they were installed in churches and cathedrals around the world, this historic space offers extraordinary acoustics that allow every note to resonate with exceptional warmth, depth, and clarity.
Bel Canto Duo is the acclaimed collaboration of Darci Gamerl, oboist and English hornist, and David Downing, cellist, composer, and looping artist. Their original music blends expressive acoustic performance with innovative looping techniques to create rich, cinematic soundscapes that inspire reflection, connection, and wonder. Drawing upon the emerging field of NeuroArts, their performances explore the powerful relationship between music, creativity, and human well-being.
Their artistry has earned international recognition, including Best Score – Documentary at the International Sound & Film Music Festival (ISFMF) 2026 for their original score to Taking Flight.
Unlike a traditional sound bath, this is a live seated concert experience designed for attentive listening and musical appreciation.
