16" Black Detailed Mandala White Buffalo Drum
This frame drum pairs a deep, grounding voice with a striking visual presence, an instrument built as much for the eye as for the ear.
The 16" Black Detailed Mandala White Buffalo Drum features an intricately detailed mandala rendered in fine black linework against a soft, weathered white drumhead. Layered rings of petals, lotus motifs, and delicate geometric work radiate outward from a central seed point, drawing the eye inward in the same way the drum's voice draws the listener inward. The lighter background gives the artwork an open, airy quality, with the detailed linework reading almost like ink on parchment. The mandala is a meditation in itself, a visual focal point that quiets the mind before a single note is struck.
When played, it releases tones both grounding and expansive, low steady waves that seem to rise from the earth and open toward the infinite. The mandala's symmetry mirrors what the drum does sonically, holding a steady center while sending vibration outward in even, breathing rings. This is an instrument of presence, a visual mandala, a sonic altar, and a companion for ritual, sound baths, and meditative exploration.
Constructed with a weather-resistant synthetic head and rope-tensioned frame, it offers reliability in every environment while preserving an organic, responsive touch. Whether used for ceremony, energy alignment, or deep personal reflection, its sound invites the player to journey inward where vibration becomes prayer and silence becomes song.
This drum includes the mallet shown in the picture.
The drum is 16" x 3.5" and weighs 2.2lbs.
*The sub-level bass of this drum is not produced well on light speakers. Use headphones or sub-level speakers for an accurate soundfile.
