22" White Remo Frame Fiberskyn Buffalo Drum

The 22" Remo Buffalo Drum produces a deep, low, sustaining tone with a rich bass resonance that recalls the frame drums found in cultural music traditions around the world. Its large playing surface and open frame design let the sound bloom and carry, making it well suited to sound therapy sessions, group drumming, meditation, and rhythm work where a grounding low end matters.

Though it resembles a traditional Native American frame drum, this is a modernized instrument built with synthetic materials. The Remo Fiberskyn drumhead is engineered to capture the warm tonal character of a natural skin head while staying remarkably stable, holding its tune across a wide range of temperature and humidity conditions that would cause a traditional hide drum to shift. The Acousticon shell adds to that consistency, giving the drum the depth and warmth of a wood-and-skin instrument without the upkeep, sensitivity, or seasonal retuning those natural materials require. The result is a dependable drum that sounds traditional but performs reliably session after session.
